Exploring Buddhism Program (EB) is a new program developed by the FPMT education services. This program has an intermediate level of study and prepares us to participate in more advanced Buddhist studies; through the introduction and deepening of key Buddhist philosophical concepts, meditation, discussion, debate and practice. This study will be taught by Ven. Thubten Norbu is a renowned Mexican nun and teacher certified by the FPMT who has taught the "Discover Buddhism" program with excellent results in our centers.What it consists of:
This program consists of 7 Topics, each module is accompanied by Support Material This course has two stages: The first lasts two years, it will be taught one weekend per month. The second stage consists of one year.7 main themes:
- Exploring the mind (from the Buddhist perspective, science and neuroscience).
- Knowing meditation (the different types of meditation, the placements in Mindfulness).
- The different truths (the 4 noble Truths and their different aspects).
- Exploring the Path (the various aspirations in life, concentration and Bodhicitta).
- Training our Mind (Key points to help our mind recover from difficult moments in life).
- Exploring some practices and prayers.
- Starting with the preliminary practices (as support to generate the causes to experience happiness).
The mind is infinite and has an unimaginable potential that can allow us to reach liberation from all suffering, achieving a correct vision of reality and generating an altruistic spirit.
